About Us

Over the past two years PITTSBURGH SOCCER IN THE COMMUNITY (PSC) has worked in numerous communities in and around the Pittsburgh area and served in excess of 500 children.

The areas and communities that PSC has served include, East Liberty, Homestead, Homewood, Hazelwood, New Kensington, Braddock and Dormont.

PSC has also served agencies and institutions with like-minded visions, agencies such as Safety Kids, Auberle, Glade Run, the Salvation Army and the YMCA.

PSC has established a number of partnerships throughout the area and works with various agencies such as the FBI, the Boy Scouts, the Pittsburgh Police, the National Guard and the Office of the Mayor to name but a few.

PSC is funded by foundation grants, Government grants, private donations and fundraising events held by the company.

The operating budget for PSC is approximately $100,000 per year, however, with additional funding PSC will be able to employ extra staff and fulfill the added program interest that the early success of the company has yielded.

It is the goal of PSC to be able provide service to every community and institution that requests the program.
