We believe that organized soccer can be used as a vehicle for social change in immigrant, refugee and under-served, marginalized communities in Pittsburgh.

Our Community Soccer League was launched with 4 teams (Burundi, Cameroon, Bhutan and Somalia) in December 2016 and propelled further with our "We Speak Soccer" project supported by The Sprout Fund's 100 Days initiative.

The 2nd and 3rd seasons included 6 teams (adding Colombia and USA).

The 4th season included 8 teams (adding a Global/International team, and Burma) and was held outdoors (11v11) at Riverview Park (North side, Pittsburgh).

Currently in our 5th season, the league is now home to 10 teams.

What: Soccer (5 games with 10 teams competing each night) with music and a family-friendly environment.

When: 3 seasons, spring, summer and winter - weekend play.

Where: Riverview Park (North side, Pittsburgh), The Neighborhood Academy (Stanton Heights, Pittsburgh)

Who: Anyone who loves soccer and wants to connect with Pittsburgh residents from all backgrounds.

Why: Celebrate the power of soccer to connect people from all over the world who now call Pittsburgh “home”.

PSCL Leadership Program

As part of our mission to provide our PSCL members with valuable knowledge and resources for their lives in Pittsburgh, PSC has developed a leadership program that runs in conjunction with league activities.

We have been proud to present a number of guest speakers and hope to grow this program alongside the league in the years to come.
